About

My aviation journey began when my mother pushed me to take my very first discovery flight.  From the time I showed up at the airport and stepped onto the ramp I was hooked.  Soon after my discovery flight, I began pursuing my Private Pilot Certificate while also working and going to school for my bachelors degree.  Due to school, I moved from California to Hawaii where I continued training for my Private Pilot Certificate.  Training out of Honolulu International Airport and flying from one island to the next was an amazing experience.  When my time in Hawaii was finished, I returned to California.  Shortly after my return to California, I finally obtained my Private Pilot Certificate.  Over the next year and a half, I graduated college with a bachelors degree in history and powered through the rest of my flight training.  I worked my way through every single rating to become a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII), and a Multiengine Instructor (MEI).

Flying is, without a doubt, the most fun I have ever had.  Getting to soar through the clouds thousands of feet above the ground and truly see the world from a bird's eye view is absolutely incredible.  However, this is not to say that the road to becoming a pilot is easy.  The training is rigorous and requires focus, hard work, and determination on part of both the instructor and the student.  The more you fly, the more you will learn.  The more you challenge yourself, the better pilot you will be.

Whether your goal is to fly for fun or to pursue a career in aviation, CB Flight Training is here to help.  I offer training for Private, Instrument, Commercial, Flight Reviews, and IPCs.  My primary goal is to create safe, smart, and responsible pilots.  I believe that the most progress is made when flying at least twice per week.  It is very easy to get rusty and forget skills learned in previous lessons when only flying once a week or once every couple of weeks.  With that being said, it is your training! You can move as fast or as slow as you desire.  I am willing to work with you to make your training efficient and stress free.  Please call, text, or email to schedule.
